You are about to wake up.
Or you are about to find out you'll always be asleep.
Can you deduce your life to words? Descriptions of moments? Dream interpretations? Other people's thoughts of you? Happiness? Or what you make of your life?
Do you even want to? Are you at a point in your life where all seems to be a dead-end? Do you even think waking up will help any of it? Do you want it to?
What do you want?
Do you want to reach Step ten:?
That's too bad.
There is no step ten here. YOU are the tenth step. You are all that you need to change your reality or accept it. It's up to you to wake up, all these steps were was a sort of recap of all that has been happening while you've been asleep. Maybe in your dream state you've seen prophetic images of it or just a subconscious and vague symbolism filled vision of how you're handling all of your world's events.
But yes. You need nothing else but your self. You've all the potential to be anything. Just like the who you are step of Step five:, Step ten: being you fits as being... you because you cannot be told that you are waking up or that you're going to remain asleep. It is not a guide to the Universe's job to teach you how to sum up meaning from all that it'll show you. Just like a microwave has instructions on how to use it but does not guarantee or even suggest as to how something you put inside of it will turn out. Same with cooking instructions or Martial Arts. Same with flying a kite or fishing.
The universal disclaimer is: RESULTS MAY VARY
But, you are you. You're not a means to an end. You're not a device used to speed up a process or make things easier. You are the ending of every story you've ever heard of. You're an end that MEANS something. You're perfect the way you are and any ripple you choose to make in this place is and will be strong enough to deter and slow the ripples and their influence on you. This is your world.
So. In conclusion with this blog and in catalyst to your life:
What you do with step ten is What to do when you can't wake up!
And to quote the Matrix:
Morpheus(the god of dreams):"But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it."
Step eight:
Think for yourself.
Don't let anything else hijack your attention.
Think for yourself and NOT your education, your hometown, your family's opinions of your life, your bank account statement, your political party, your shoe size, what your shirt says, what's in your pockets, on your walls, in your DVD collection, your living room's theme, how much horse power your car has, your hours of volunteer work, the books you've read, the lost time you've seen a sunset, your view out your window as you fly to another family reunion, your blisters on your hands, your tv shows, what your counselor says, what your friends say; THINK FOR YOURSELF
Think of all the times you took advice or asked for it. Think of why that is. Think of why you doubt yourself when you ultimately follow your own advice in the end.
Think of why it is when someone says something that makes sense to you or doesn't at all. It is because you already felt it Already know it. It is because you think you're so alone as you surround yourself with things that you want to tell you who you are and things that want you in their image. Things that want you operate like they do so they feel safe while you're convinced that it's okay to be different and that the uncomfortable feeling in you is just your abandoned Self not accepting the change.
Think of how far from yourself you are. This isn't a truth that you are... it is just a directory.
And you are HERE amidst the friendly familiar fanfare of frenzied fallacies frightening your subconsciousness into a numb state. It is what makes you think you can no longer move from the mind state you are in. It makes you accept the environment around you. It is the ever rising water that your shackles made of your own beliefs and fears keep you from swimming away.
Think for yourself.
Answer your own questions.
Be your own answer.

Step seven:
Suggest and observe.
You're the basis. You're the ground zero from which all exists.
All the seventh step is for you to understand what it is you do. Suggest and observe.
Forget preferences, differences, opinions, belief, facts, fallacies, truths, lies, favourites, karma, destiny, and yourself.
Take the concept of "known" and remove all notions throughout your life that you've thought thus-far need to go into "known". Take all you've removed and put it into the concept of "Guesses/theories". It may look like the "known" box but feel different as when you had the "known" box full of your security, you didn't have to think about it. All that was in it was 'old hat' to you. Maybe even common sense. But on the note of not thinking about it, did you yourself put all of which was in your "known" box? I'm sure you sat through the lectures, opened the books, fingered through the index cards in the library, asked redundantly of a family member about a subject till they got annoyed with you... so then really, there's no ownership of the "known". Every piece of information is secondhand. To add to the fray, another box out there just as imaginary and shiny as the "known" box and it is called the "law/moral" box. But that's sort of self-explanatory.
Look at it this way, the dark was only scary because you didn't know what it hid or why it pulled your imagination towards fear. Someone would show you that there was nothing in the dark and that the dark could always be wiped away by light. But now you can observe that maybe the dark was trying to entice you to understand it metaphorically and physically as it's more abundant and doesn't put up resistance to light. To understand it would make a whole lot more sense than to figure out how to avoid the dark or to fear the dark by parents/guardians answering that the monsters won't get you.
So hey, nothing's known, all is unknown, all you are responsible for is maintaining a constant observation of things as well as suggesting-guessing what things could mean while sharing such findings.
The only certainty is uncertainty.

Step six:
You are your education system.
Everything you have been told that was done for your sake is a lie.
Economy, religion, science, school, work; all center around the same lie--money.
The monetary currency that has hijacked your beliefs, your life, and your morals. The bartering system is there but the scales of value are tipped to nothing in your favour.
Want to know why there's the saying of "Money can't buy you happiness"? It's because happiness is not on the menu of who prints and circulates your monetary currency. "Monetary" is the adjective to "currency" as this step is about what it is you possess and should be bartering with.
The universal currency you have is curiosity. And nowhere in your innateness is there 'capitalism'.
As capitalism stems from the belief that something is of value enough to override curiosity. But losing your ability to believe in anything are what these steps advocate. It isn't a bad thing to stop believing, but it is the worst to be told what to believe.
Give value to nothing.
Not even opinions.
And not even the idea that we all have our differences. That idea is somewhat the root from the soil that belief grows from and capitalism fawns leaves from. When everyone abolishes their curiosity for the false empowering thought that they've something to say, the surrogate choice of having preferences is made and shrouds them. Then that creates a mass of similar mental drones, all reprogrammed to seek out differences in each other and in you, who is trying to wake up, and scorn you for those differences and beliefs. Most of them come from capitalized backgrounds or cultures bred on differences and value.
But curiosity... it's not only your shield from the dark articulation of a differential mind but also the only thing we all universally have.
The best you can do for someone who believes in opinions is to help them wonder why they do believe.

Step five:
Know thyself. Or know yourself.
There's no guarantee, approval stamp, pat on the back, not even a congratulations or smiley face next to a gold star when you know yourself.
All you are is inside of the clothes you're wearing, the feeling of your heart beating as you slowly fall in love, or the ramblings of your imagination ticking away beneath your hair you probably care too much about or hardly touch.
You are not what you do nor how you do it. You are that you that keeps doing and never lies about having done so. You is also the immortal hope translated perfectly into the purest form conceivable because you are that which has been conceived to realize this.
But the most important thing and the only thing that'll be left by the end of knowing yourself, is that no one can tell you how, when, or who you'll be.
Which would you rather hear... a group of kids wanting to be police and firefighters when they grow up OR a group of kids wanting to be themselves when they grow up?

Step four:
But not yet.
Let doubt brim your new amorphous view and be the ever constant and dancing silver lining as you navigate through the thunderstorm-world you now see for what it is instead of what you've been told it always was.
In the notion of why, why can be infinite but as with illusions, enough whys will distabilized the image of illusion and reveal that it had no purpose other than to deceive you. So why the illusions?
Illusions are there to keep from you what has been deemed hazardous or harmful to your reality.
But really, your reality has then been nothing but the pure deception itself controlling and deciding what is hazardous or harmful. It is safe to conclude that the illusions are the hazardous and harmful, and that's the reality they don't want you to know. Instead of a sleep, they have you isolated in a coma with dozens of IVs dripping little by little the dark residue of their scheme... to cloud your already vulnerable senses and drift your mind beyond the point of recovery so that your addiction to their emotional and material dream world concretes your existence to their machine. Their unstoppable machine whose gears are powered by your unmitigated cooperation. The machine you involuntarily consent your work shifts, the same work shifts they have you utterly convinced you need through glimpses of xeroxed threats, promises and incessant reminders of how unstable the world is around you. When really, just around the bend and what they won't tell you, they are the source of it. Then why do they continue to do it???
They'll say they're doing it for us, the people. Our government, for the people, by the people, thinking of us kindly and considerately whilst deluding us. Keeping us "free" by enforcing their freedom upon us.
Laws, taxes, states, voting, television, medicine, schools, coffee, sports, drugs, bill collectors, record labels, leashes, infomercials, churches, mosques, synagogs, the place where you kneel at night to pray, wiretaps, the radio, boundaries, and all five of your senses.
So in further delving, step four is about illusions and understanding your innate ability to decipher illusion from YOU.

Step three:
Do something about it.
None of it is a movie for you two watch the scenes of go by. This Universe is something you're part of, not apart from. Know it. Understand it. Be it.
When you understand what is keeping you asleep... make a choice to not accept what is being fed to you. The sleeping pills shrouded in false senses of security. Reassurance in your government. Your locked windows. That padlock. The lights being off.
None of it is real. And just knowing that, you have a lot more power than you're letting yourself possess because you've been so desensitized of being in control. Why is that? Because you've been controlled your entire life.
The playgrounds weren't there to entertain you during recess, they were designed to harness your fear and get you used to predisposed obstacles for you to struggle to conquer. But all you really did was condition yourself to the prison they had planned for you. Not a prison like a penitentiary but one that you cannot feel or see or taste or touch. An infinite and evilly devised microcosm-net built to look like you need it.
To better let your mental immunity fight it, you need to identify it completely in all the nooks and camouflage it comes in. Economy, education, government, vehicle, home, carpet, desk, computer, internet, couch, family reunion, tupperware, insurance, daycare, 401k, retirement, pharmacy, birth control, hunting, cell phones, state borders, home security, patriot act, and census. You could probably fill in the rest.
Understand the reasons you're told they're all there and in their place in your life but allow yourself to explore the reasons they don't tell you why they're there.
Explore by taking off all the safety precautions you have on the way you think. All the biases you previously had, all the prejudices to information you've kept, let it all go. Let the doubt belong where it always should have been; in your oppressors. Become a skeptic but with a heavy influence of optimism. Stop believing entirely. Take every bit of information you happen upon with the conviction of a skeptic. Keep track of how coincidental it all seems when you stop and think about it... put together all the erroneous traits of the reality you've been given. Create the map of where you really are in all of it... Create the landscape of your prison. Notice all the lies and accoutrements.
You now look like you want to wake up.

Create the map of where you really are in all of it... Create the landscape of your prison. Notice all the lies and accoutrements.
You now look like you want to wake up.
Step two:
In any part of your day, try and sit or stand quietly somewhere with your eyes closed keeping your thoughts inward. Try and listen to your breaths or feel your heart beat... If you are unable to attempt so, you should understand what is bothering you. If nothing is bothering you, you should understand what you are feeling.
Is there something wrong with this picture?
Does it have colour? Does it have what we want to see? Does it need to be seen? Who composed this picture? Why does this picture look like our reflection? Do we really look like that?
The second step in any mode of waking up is to confirm that there is something wrong once shown something very well could be wrong.
Why can't you wake up? Any suggestions or observations?
What do you think is making you stay asleep? Are you being fed drugs or is your environment providing some sort of 'hand-cuffs' for your consciousness?
Do you know what drugs are? Drugs are any substance introduced to treat a diagnosis or prevent a disease.
Understand that though your world might be controlled by conditions, no one part is defunct of meaning when separated. If anything, conditions usually hide core reasons as to why something is or isn't as stated.
Drugs are then anything that exists physically. Would you like to consider 'thoughts' as a substance? "That which has mass and/or occupies space."
Actions have equations of mass. Does that mean it's still matter? An action, however described, is just as inert as the mass included in the equations used to underly an action. And if that seems off point, note to yourself that you cannot touch an action, pet an equation, or kiss a description. All of these are thoughts. Thoughts occupy the space between you and an action. An action may happen but it's not as valid as the thought of an action.
So you're obviously being drugged. The food you eat, the air you breathe, the thoughts you think. And your environment is your cage, every aspect of it a bar surrounding your soul's perimeter. But none of that is really keeping you asleep. You're keeping you asleep.
Nay. Your ignorance is keeping you asleep.
Why are you keeping you asleep? Because you don't know that there's something wrong with this place? Or is it the reason you can't feel anything when asked to take a moment and close your eyes and feel and be connected with yourself?
And that's just it. There is something wrong with this place. All the cogs spin at a precise pace but you know there's something sinister about that very pace. You can feel it. You've been shown it all your life. Your cognitive processes are filled with it and constantly being filled with it even now as you read this. It's in the cereal you eat, the weights you exercise with, the keyboard you share your feelings on, the air between you and the window you stare out of. You smile when you're told to. You behold the forced beauty it befalls upon you, all primmed and strategically placed to keep you dry and aesthetically bound to the very idea that hope is rare. But you are able to catch glimpses of what's really there. Something it cannot keep from you. The very something that makes it possible to wake up and once awake, this something in you can inspire the something in others. Hope then, is not a rarity but a gift.
Everything is false and nothing is true; all things are possible.

Step one:
Do you dream in colour?
Would you rather have the reality of your dreams or the reality of your senses? Can you tell the difference? Where do you feel like a superhero?
If you had a choice, an honest yes or no choice, would you stay asleep if asked to wake up?
Chuang Tzu dreamed he was a butterfly. But he also dreamed he was a man watching a butterfly. Which would you rather be? A fluttering consequenceless marvel of beauty and flight... or an ever destructive being taking a break from dreaming and sitting upon a meadow for a relaxing afternoon among flowers and butterflies?
To lightly reference the Matrix Trilogy... To wake up is to unplug. Decide right now what it is you're plugged into. What would you consider a model for being plugged in to be? Would you use the analogy of two metal prongs having been inserted into an outlet? A gas pump nozzle into your car's open gas tank? A penis in a vagina? The ball joint of your shoulder? A bullet into a revolver? A hand into a hand? Participating in a discussion? Dreaming of things provided by your daily experience of faces and stories?
If you can't decide... it should help then when suggested to you that any inescapable contact, direct or indirect, is you plugging in. When you're asked what love is... you plug into your memories via simply thinking. What you say is plugged into your cognitive and stem synapses that counter with your voice box using gathered air to vibrate. The sound plugs into the ears of who is listening and awaiting your answer, the walls in which you're speaking within.
But how to unplug? Wake up?
What is 'waking up'? Waking means to be alert, suddenly conscious. Conscious of what? That you were previously asleep? Or that you were so deeply plugged in that you were thoroughly integrated with what you were plugged in with to be convinced of anything else?
Up means completely or entirely in the phrase 'waking up'. Completely conscious. Do you think you're conscious now? Can you feel the room around you without thinking about it? Can you point north without looking out a window? Do you know what day it is without looking at a calendar? If you got only 2 out of the 4 questions above asked... then no. You're not awake.
You're between the dream state and awake. You're a drifting biomass whose inertia provides no external aid as to where your consciousness might teeter.
There's a lot to be aware of for you to wake up. So much that your immediate opinions regarding these symbols gathered neatly in lines and understood left to right are expected. And in saying that, you won't reply with said opinion. Who knows, maybe you'll be brave enough to get to Step Ten.
